September 5th, 2008Have you come across the problem that you are not able to cover the tuition fees of the college you have enrolled? Do not be surprised, it is just a normal thing nowadays. Almost all the freshmen come across one and the same problem: constant lack of finances.
In whole, there are three common ways how freshmen can help themselves to cope with the tuition fees. Some of them are more beneficial, some of them are less beneficial. These ways are as follows: grant, scholarship, and educational loan.
Scholarship is the sum of money given to the person in order to cover the tuition fees. In other words it is your free ticket to the free of charge education. However, the scholarships are given based on some merits, and it is not very simple to get them.
Grant is the sum of money given to the student also merits based, however grant does not cover the whole amount of the tuition fees. Nowadays, it covers one third of the tuition fees.
Educational loan is the loan given to you in order to cover the tuition fees, however, it differs from the grants and scholarships a great deal, as it has to be covered.
